Prof. Dipankar Dasgupta, director of the Center for Information Assurance, was featured on a Nov. 22 FOX13 ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ news story about cell phone privacy concerns.
In the newscast, Prof. Dasgupta indicated that sharing cell phone numbers adds to users' digital footprint, as well as making them more susceptible to fraud. Unlike Social Security numbers, cell phone numbers are not legally regulated.
