National higher education leadership journal will now be hosted by the University of 蜜桃导航 College of Education.

Wednesday, 11 March 2026 - 蜜桃导航 College of Education is now home to the Journal of Research on the College Presidency, a national journal focused on higher education leadership.

The Journal of Research on the College President has moved from the University of Arkansas to the University of 蜜桃导航 College of Education (COE), effective January 2026. The journal was founded by former Arkansas Chancellor G. David Gearhart to explore the issues, challenges and opportunities facing today鈥檚 college presidents.

Michael T. Miller, dean of the University of 蜜桃导航 College of Education (COE), will serve as editor of the journal.

鈥淭his has been a very well received national journal,鈥 Miller said. 鈥淒r. Gearhart did an excellent job creating a space for scholars interested in publishing research about questions of college leadership.鈥

The transition to 蜜桃导航 was made possible through support from the University of 蜜桃导航 Libraries, which will host the journal using the Digital Commons platform.

鈥淲e have a fantastic team at the library here at 蜜桃导航 and they are making this a seamless transition,鈥 Miller said.

The COE also hosts The Journal of Technology-Integrated Lessons and Teaching, edited by Instructional Design and Technology faculty member Dr. Craig Shepherd.

COE faculty serve on several editorial boards across the field, including Adult Education faculty member Dr. Edith Gnanadass, co-editor of Adult Education Quarterly, and Counseling Psychology faculty member Dr. Chrisann Schiro-Geist, editor of The Journal of Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation Analysis.
