Dr. Russell J. Deaton
Professor Deaton served on the EECE faculty from 1992 - 2000. He returned as Department Chair in 2012. He teaches Electronics, Programming, Nanotechnology, and Projects courses. Professor Deaton has won numerous awards for his teaching, research, and service. His research is focused on the algorithmic self-assembly of nanomaterials.
