UofM Board of Trustees Approves Funding Model for Football Practice Facility
August 3, 2017 - In a special called meeting, the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Board of Trustees
today approved the financial structure for the Tiger football indoor practice facility
on the Park Avenue campus. The facility will include a practice field, dining area
and football operations office. The Board also approved initial ground and utility
preparation work for the football practice facility.
In addition, the Tiger basketball training facility was officially named the Laurie-Walton
Family Basketball Center. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ alumni Bill and Nancy Laurie contributed $10 million
to the capital campaign for athletic facilities in 2013.
