Joseph Moore enjoys an active career as a performer and educator. A Suzuki-trained trumpet teacher, he currently serves as the Visiting Assistant Professor of Trumpet at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. He previously served on the adjunct faculties of the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, Bethel University, and Union University.
As an orchestral musician, he has performed with the Jackson Symphony, Parthenon Chamber Orchestra, Palm Beach Opera, and South Florida Symphony. As a first prize winner in the Golden Classical Music Awards International Solo Competition, he performed at Carnegie Hall in 2022.
He earned degrees from Union University (B.M.), McGill University (M.M.), and the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ (D.M.A.), studying trumpet performance with Dennis Smith, Richard Stoelzel, and David Spencer, and Suzuki pedagogy with Ann-Marie Sundberg.
