is a public health professional committed to advancing health equity, student success and community-engaged programming. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to serving underserved populations and creating inclusive, supportive environments that help students thrive academically and professionally.
Originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, Jamecia was raised in a military family, an experience that shaped her values around service, adaptability and collaboration. These principles continue to inform her approach to public health practice, leadership and partnership building.
Jamecia holds a Master of Public Health from the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, a Bachelor of Health Science in Population Health from Baptist Health Sciences University, where she was the program’s first graduate, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Sociology from the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½.
She currently serves as the Coordinator of Experiential Learning and Career Services for the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ School of Public Health, where she leads initiatives that strengthen workforce readiness, expand community partnerships and enhance professional development opportunities for public health students.
