UofM SPH Attends South ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Neighborhood Partnership Meeting
August 28, 2025 - University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ School of Public Health Community Outreach Representative, Steve Shular, attended the South ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Community Partnership monthly meeting held at Pine Hill Community Center in South ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. The monthly gathering featured representatives from government bureaus and community organizations who provided updates about crime and blight in the South ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ area.
Mr. Shular discussed the increase in student enrollment, research funding and an upcoming health fair that will be held September 25 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the community center. The fair will be co-sponsored by the UofM School of Public Health and ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Health Center which operates five clinics throughout the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ and Shelby County area.
