UofM SPH Represented at Uptown Joint Agency Partnership Meeting Sponsored by ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Mayor’s Office
September 16, 2025 – ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ (UofM) School of Public Health (SPH) Community Outreach Representative Steve Shular attended the monthly Uptown Joint Agency Partnership meeting sponsored by the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Mayor’s Office.
The meeting is held on the third Tuesday of every month at BRIDGES USA — a youth services organization. The Uptown Community Partnership focuses on crime and blight concerns voiced by residents and business owners in the neighborhood just north of downtown ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½.
Mr. Shular updated the group about the UofM SPH’s public health clubs at several area high schools and internship opportunities that SPH students are partaking in.
