Dr. Chunrong Jia Receives Special Recognition for Research on Air Pollution at UofM Football Game

November 7, 2025 - During ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ vs. Tulane University football game, Dr. Chunrong Jia’s research on air pollution and his impactful work at The University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ School of Public Health (UofM SPH) was recognized during half time.

Dr. Jia, a UofM SPH professor, has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications advancing our understanding of environmental health and air quality. His primary area of research is exposure and risk assessment of organic compounds in the ambient and indoor air.

During the event, ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ also took the opportunity to highlight the UofM School of Public Health’s accolades.

The UofM SPH would like to thank the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ and President Bill Hardgrave for this special recognition.
