Dr. Amy de Jongh Curry Recognized as 2025 MJEC Featured Engineer – SWE ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Section

Dr. Amy de Jongh Curry has been honored as the 2025 Featured Engineer for the SWE ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Section by the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½-Area Joint Engineers Council (MJEC). She received this recognition at the MJEC’s E-Week Kickoff Luncheon on February 12, 2025, in celebration of her leadership, advocacy for women in engineering, and contributions to the field.
A dedicated educator and researcher at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, Dr. Curry specializes in cardiac and neural electrophysiology with applications in neuro-modulation and implantable devices. She currently serves as the FY25 Secretary for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and has held numerous leadership roles, including past SWE ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ President.
Amy’s passion for mentorship, diversity, and inclusion in engineering continues to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.
