What is National Nutrition Month®?

National Nutrition Month® is an annual nutrition education and information campaign started by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 1973. It is planned during the month of March. The theme for 2026 is "Discover the Power of Nutrition." More information about the .

Why do we celebrate National Nutrition Month®? Here at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½, we hope to inspire students to prioritize nutrition in a way that is simple, affordable, and individualized so they can be thrive in all areas of their lives. Bringing National Nutrition Month® to the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ will allow students to engage in a variety of nutrition-related services and activities on campus to better understand the "importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits."
