Literature professor Dr. Donal Harris was recently featured on the UofM blog, Research in A Minute, to talk about his research on how social institutions influence what we read, how we talk about art, and ultimately what we create.
English Honors Colloquium: Dr. Eric Schlich - April 13th
The English Honors Colloquium is a series that began in 2024 and invites faculty,
staff, graduate students, undergraduate majors and minors, and anyone interested in
English Studies to gather in fellowship to hear about and discuss the cutting-edge
work being done by our faculty. On April 13th, Dr. Eric Schlich will discuss 鈥�Titanic 2.0, A Novel-in-Progress鈥� in Patterson Hall 456 beginning at 4pm.
Deb Talbot Roundtable & Graduate Student Conference - April 23rd & 25th
Each year, the University of 蜜桃导航 English Department hosts a Graduate Student Conference
in conjunction with the UofM English Graduate Organization (UMEGO). This year's theme is Multiliteracies, Multimodality, and Genre, hosted by Dr. J. Elliott Casal.
Roundtable: Thursday, April 23rd beginning at 4:30pm in the UC River Room (300)
Conference: Saturday, April 25th beginning at 9:00am in Patterson Hall
