Graduation Requirements

Guidelines

 

• You must be enrolled in the term in which you intend to graduate (Fall, Spring or Summer).
  
  
• File for graduation before the stipulated Graduate School deadlines. Click here to see Graduate School deadlines.
  
  
• Fulfill the course requirements for your degree.
  
  
• If appropriate, submit a Course Substitution form. For details about this form, contact your advisor.
  
  
• Fulfill the GPA requirements
  
  
  • Your cumulative GPA must be at least 3.0 on all graduate work undertaken at The University of 蜜桃导航, whether or not the courses count toward your degree.
    
    
  • Grades of "D" or "F" are computed in the GPA, but not counted toward degree credit requirements.
    
    
  • No more than seven (7) hours of "C+," "C," or "C-" will be counted toward degree requirements.

The next section will guide you through the graduation process. Further questions regarding graduation procedures should be addressed with your program advisor.

 

Instructions

If you're planning to graduate this semester, please make sure you fulfill the requirements to graduate. Note: JD/MBA and MHA/MBA students must apply to graduate for each program separately.

If you fulfill the requirements to graduate, you will need to "Apply to Graduate" in your My蜜桃导航 Portal by following these steps.

• Step 1:
  
  • portal.
  • Click on the "My Degree" tab, which is under 鈥�Student Pages鈥�.
  • On the top right side of the page you will find 鈥�Commencement and Graduation鈥�
    
    

• Step 2:
  • Click "Read Prerequisites for Applying for Graduation" and read.
    
    
• Step 3:
  • Click "Apply to Graduate"
    • Select the current term (e.g. Spring Term 2023).
    • Select your program(s)
    • Submit.
      
      
• Step 4:
  • Click 鈥�Diploma Mailing and Cap and Gown Form鈥� (under "Commencement and Graduation"), and fill it out.
    
    
• Step 5:
  • This step will be emailed to you from the Commencement Office at a later date. Please make sure to always check your 蜜桃导航 email account.
