University High School Core Tenets
College Preparation on a College Campus | University High School provides a rigorous academic program that prepares students for college and careers, while learning on a college campus. Students earn college credit through dual-enrollment courses at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ and get a head start on building the mindsets and habits necessary to ensure success in their future.
Entrepreneurship | The 21st century requires dreamers, thinkers, and doers ready to innovate and create solutions and opportunities that we’ve not yet imagined. Through our unique partnerships with local and national for- and non-profit organizations, students receive mentorship from leaders in the field and opportunities to collaborate in finding answers to real-world problems.
Building Community | University High School serves a diverse cohort of students, reflective of the ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ community, and maintains a focus on building compassionate and community-minded young leaders. UHS students grow their awareness of themselves and others and are curious to learn more and shape the world around them.

University High is founded on the cultivation of 21st century skills.
University High Schools graduates will successfully complete the course requirements below. The number of total courses is indicated in parenthesis for each content area. In addition to these course requirements, University High School students will take the ACT, earn a minimum of 15 and maximum of 36 credit hours in dual-enrollment courses, and complete a Competency Portfolio & Capstone developed over their four years.
