Doctor of Education (EdD)
Major: Instruction and Curriculum Leadership
The Doctor of Education (EdD) in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership offers concentrations such as Applied Behavior Analysis, Early Childhood, Instruction and Curriculum, Instructional Design & Technology, Literacy Education, Special Education, and Social Studies Education. This advanced program is designed to develop individuals with expert knowledge in specialized areas, research skills, and the capacity to influence policy and practice across diverse educational settings. It prepares graduates for leadership roles in academia, policy, and administration, fostering systemic improvements in education. 
Each concentration supports leadership preparation within specialized educational fields.
Admission to the program is a two-step process that includes acceptance by the Graduate School and a comprehensive review conducted by the academic department
The ICL Doctoral Program curriculum includes research seminar courses, advanced research methodology courses, and dissertation hours designed to support the development and completion of scholarly research. The doctoral program emphasizes research, inquiry, and professional leadership development.
