Transfer Students
Transfer students from two-year or other four-year schools are welcomed to the Department of Journalism and Strategic Media. Incoming students should meet with Prof. Michael Robinson, the coordinator of student services, to determine what journalism/mass communication courses from their schools will transfer and how those classes will count toward their University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ degree.
Transfer students should remember that all their transfer hours will count toward their required 120 hours, but some adjustments are likely needed. Additionally, transfer students must remember that prerequisites and requirements vary from university to university and additional classes may be required. We will work with students to help align their academic plans with their career goals to help them graduate in a timely manner.
