In this feature story from ML Magazine, readers learn about Ms. Fannie Byrd and her
story about how the Elder Law Clinic and it's student attorneys helped her in a time
of need. Ms. Byrd is 78 years old. She lives in an area of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ that is typically
regarded as poverty-stricken, with a rate of violent crime that is one of the highest
in the city. She's also the type of person who doesn't care about any of that and
who raised successfully raised a family amidst all of these adverse conditions. But

ELDER LAW CLINIC HIGHLIGHTED IN PERSPECTIVE MAGAZINE
ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Elder Law Clinic, led by
Professor Donna Harkness, is highlighted in the new issue of Perspective magazine,
a publication of the Young Lawyers Section of the NY State Bar Association. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½
Law and Elder Law Clinic alum Adam Cooper co-authored the article, which details his
