About the Library
Lambuth Campus Library 705 Lambuth Blvd. Jackson, TN 38301 731.425.1918 The Luther
L. Gobbel Library (also called the Lambuth Library) is located on the Lambuth Campus and is a branch of the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Libraries. All policies are in accordance with the University Libraries policies. Our team
consists of the Campus Librarian, two Library Assistants, and a team of student workers.
Together we provide circulation services, technology assistance, research and reference
help, library instruction, and fun events such as (a welcome brunch at the start of each semester),(a shared reading experience mid-semester), and Our regular hours during the school year are: 4PM – 9PM Sunday 8AM – 9PM Monday
– Thursday 8AM – 4:30PM Friday Closed Saturday Hours vary during interim periods
and holidays. . You can call 901.678.8240 to hear a recording of the University Libraries’ hours.
University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Students
Utilizing their campus ID card, University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ students can:
- Check out print books in the Lambuth Library collection and in the University Libraries collections.
- Access electronic resources through the library’s databases, journals, eBooks, and Interlibrary Loan service.
- Check out technology including laptops, scientific calculators, and recording equipment
- Book and the
- Use our Computer Lab, printing, & scanning services
University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Faculty & Staff
University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ faculty and staff can:
- Check out print books in the Lambuth Library collection and in the University Libraries collections.
- Access electronic resources through the library’s databases, journals, eBooks, and Interlibrary Loan service.
- Check out technology including laptops, scientific calculators, and recording equipment
- Book and the
- Use our Computer Lab, printing, & scanning services
- Request instructional sessions for their classes on research skills, information literacy, library use, and more (contact Kelly Maust at kelly.maust@memphis.edu)
Community Patrons
Members of the community can use a valid ID to register for a special privileges Community User Card. They can use this card to:
- Check out print books from the Lambuth Library collection
- Use our general study spaces
- Check out classroom STEM kits through the West TN STEM Hub (for local educators)
Parking Information
Library visitors with a campus-issued parking permit may park in the marked University spaces on West King Avenue, on the campus side. Library visitors without a parking permit may parallel park along West King Ave, on the side of the street opposite campus.
