Beverly Greene Bond is Associate Professor of History at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. Past president of the Southern Association for Women Historians, Professor Bond specializes in nineteenth-century African American history with a focus on African American women and their experiences.
Susan Eva O'Donovan is Associate Professor of History at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. A former editor at the Freedmen & Southern Society Project and author of Becoming Free in the Cotton South, Professor O'Donovan specializes in African American history with a focus on the transition from slavery to freedom in the Civil War era.
Communication Director
Andre E. Johnson is Assistant Professor of Communications at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½. He specializes in African American rhetoric and religion and is the founder and managing editor of the popular Rhetoric Race and Religion blog.
