Annual University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ Vertically Integrated Projects Day
The annual Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) Day at the University of ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ is an annual research showcase that features multi-year, faculty-led research teams of undergraduate students. The program allows students, from freshmen to seniors, to earn academic credit while participating in sustained, authentic research alongside graduate mentors. ÃÛÌÒµ¼º½ is home to the only VIP program in the Mid-South and in the State of Tennessee. Through the program's first three years, 82 undergraduates, 14 graduate mentors, and eight faculty mentors participated in Herff's VIP Day.
Students enroll in progress VIP courses for 3-4 consecutivesemesters and participate at the appropriate level of experience to earn 3.0 credit hours.
